Starbucks in Freiburg im Breisgau

Pleasant atmosphere, but the cinnamon bun is no longer what it used to be. You could also call it a tasteless cinnamon-yeast-calorie bomb for € 2.59. Why do you have something new to save a few cents on purchases and compromise on taste? No thanks!

I rarely write bad reviews, but there is no other way. Until almost 3 years ago, the branch was my favorite place, which I have visited at least twice a week for several years, now I haven't been there for a long time and I'm really disappointed. It's incredibly dirty, everything is worn and anything but cozy. I wanted a Pumpkin Spice, which was unfortunately sold out, which is why I went for an alternative, it tasted good, but was only half full, with a dollop of cream on it. Much worse than the uncomfortable atmosphere, the full tables that were not cleared (although at least 4 employees were there and hardly anything was going on), but was the insane rude foreman / shift supervisor? I asked a very nice employee if I could have one of the Halloween cards, she asked her colleague who gave me one. While I was waiting for my drink, said third person (tall, long hair, glasses) came and warned me in front of my company and other customers that I should give him the card back immediately so that they don't do that. When I wanted to give him back the card, irritated, he almost tore it out of my hand and stomped away as if I had done something else. When I asked why I have to return the card, there was no response. Not even when asked if I have to recharge it so I can take it with me, which I would have done if someone had explained to me what the problem is. I come from Freiburg and only hear bad things about said location, wanted to convince myself and yes well ... I will definitely not go there again.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Skilled baristas☕ and beverage makers. Clean and comfortable seating inside and seating outside has a great view??

I've been a satisfied customer at every Starbucks so far. I have always been happy to pay the high price because of the quality. This is the first one that struck me negatively. The otherwise juicy pastries were dry and tasted like the day before. The cashier was inattentive and not particularly polite. Despite the corona time, none of the employees tried to wipe the tables, let alone disinfect them. Despite the fragrant coffee being offered, the shop smells rather unpleasantly of sweat.

Visited the Starbucks in Freiburg in the "KaJo" street today with a friend. I was very pleasantly surprised. Super nice staff behind the counter. Immediately greeted with an honest and friendly smile. Attentive and fully oriented towards the guest and his wishes. No intrusive "sales pitch" or anything like that. Even the simplest order of the guest (coffee with milk) is always brought to the guest with a sincere smile with dedication and friendliness. From the moment you enter the premises until you leave it, you feel completely in good hands and just as cared for. Well over an hour was spent there, and every guest was served in a friendly and courteous manner. In short, a location that rightly deserves to be rated with 5 honest stars. Typical Starbucks with great coffee

The coffee is still delicious, but that's all. Way too expensive. Tables dirty. Armchair worn and partly broken. I can't recommend it.

Delicious as always! Only the paper straws are unreasonable. The drink no longer tastes good and they dissolve quickly.

Have rarely seen such a dirty shop during this time. Tables, dirty floors, we'd rather not talk about the toilet at all.

Not as expected.

Really had bad experience and service. Girl was on counter and behaving weird and i asked for Java Chip and it was not perfectly made. Chip were not crushed at all. Chunks were inside and hard to drink. Drink was without cream on top too.

Nice Starbucks store. I always go to them when I'm in Freiburg because they have a great selection. Always happy!

The drinking was really gross. It just tasted of hot water.

Like everywhere else at Starbucks, you get your favorite coffee served here. The service was very friendly despite the Corona difficulties.

I like this branch very much, the staff is almost always friendly and it tastes pretty good too. However, the prices are expensive. You have to be able to afford it.

Coffee, 1-2hrs job hunting, surfing around the web, some online course work. Top. More comfortable than at an office desk.

First Starbucks I've seen on my German road trip. Couldn't resist an iced, half sweet vanilla latte.

We were denied a seat, although others were given a seat - the argument at the box office was Covid19, but no advance notice was given. UHT milk is also added to the cappucco ... and at such prices!

Love this place

Typical Starbucks. Fortunately, WiFi is free. But the prices are awesome I needed for my little milk and paid 2x 2.50 € for about 400ml, we had an invoice for about 60 €.

I was just denied access to my basic needs because I no longer had my receipt. I'm Freiburg and I was here 15 times a month. Now it is over. I do not support such an arrogant blonded guy.

I love going to this Starbucks store, the staff is always friendly. The toilets are fairly clean and well kept. I really like the seating and the large glass front. Would be happy to recommend you.

I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. I order the same coffee everywhere in Europe and today it was so watery like it was just water with a pinch of coffee. Such a waist of 5 euros, I threw it away it wasn't drinkable

Big latte, big coffee were a step up in price, although not ordered that way. But very watery ... The premises were completely overheated. Toilets were station level.

Coffee and wifi non busy on Monday morning.

Had a great hot chocolate yummy.

Self-service latte machiato for € 3.99. The toilets and the staircase have not been cleaned for a long time .. Nasty!

Update: Der Starbucks team, experience is shared here. Thank you for quick reply. But for other stars you just need to make regular cleaning and inform customers about codes - few words written near the payment station is enough. If you want to know how Starbucks should not be like: dirty tables and restrooms, very slow service. You are also not informed, that you need a CODE to get an access in toilette which is in your slip....

It was the first time I ordered something in a Starbucks. The place is really nice, the prices are okay and my order was really delicious!

To this coffe shop i always recommend, tge diffrint shacks and drinks are very delicios, the esspresso is spicial. Must, visit and rty it. I always looking for starbucks in every place / city/ town to drink their spicial coffe.
